SIFF!
By kate on May 8th, 2005
It’s SIFF season! I had such a good time last year that I’m very excited it’s that time again. Schedules came out on Thursday, and that day I sat down with pens and highlighters to try to choose what films to see.
The process is very instinctive (and random). I’m basing my choices solely on the paragraph-long blurbs in the festival program, which is pleasantly limiting and challenging. It’s a lot like a puzzle, to try to figure out the most optimal viewing schedule based on the movies you REALLY want to see, and the movies you “kinda” want to see.
Here’s the schedule I’ve come up with. I’ll be buying my tickets tomorrow. If you’re interested in joining me for any of these, let me know.
Also, I’m thinking about trying the Secret Festival this year. Any advice? Is it worth it?
