Future Events

Travelling
Steve and I are going to Mongolia for the month of August. We will fly to Beijing, then take the train into Mongolia (returning the same way). I'm very excited to get out in the world again. Why Mongolia? It's very scenic and unspoiled, and most people don't go there.

House Renovations
I won't bore you with the details... suffice it to say we keep throwing around ideas (both the minor and the money-is-no-object type) for improving our house. Nothing has been decided yet.

Grownup Stuff
Sometime in the next few years, Steve and I want to have a child or two. I'm slowly adjusting to the idea of being a parent in the middle term instead of the long term.

Teaching?
I've always wanted to be a teacher "someday" after I've tried other careers. I certainly enjoyed my year volunteering with fourth graders. So, eventually, I'm sure I'll end up teaching, probably at the junior high level.
